*Dubai, UAE-Moscow, Russia*

the day has finally arrived for me to go to two different countries of two different temperature.
a long journey indeed.
it is on the 1st September 2008 when i flew to Dubai.
remembering for the first thing before i packed my luggage, i put my baobei in first, before i forget again.
i faced a tad of difficulty in packing my luggage for this flight

just cause i do not know how to pack for both different weather
anyhow, i managed to packed in which ended up bringing a whole lot of unused stuff in the end

hey, let's get back to the topic!
Dubai was hot at the very temperature of 46 degree celcius when i arrived.
the air is so humid.
or in my own language the air is so thick and dusty.
when you're in it, you can hardly breathe. really.
i mean i can only interpret t in this way, but you must really be there to feel it tho.

the hotel is not too bad, not till what i expected to live in Dubai after seeing all the advertisement about how marvellous the hotels they have there.
however, in Dubai, i went out with the rest for dinner at this restaurant for Indian
then the next day, i had my own drystores which means maggie mee(:
didn't take much pictures tho.
the main plan was suppose to be spending a night in the dessert and go to do some sight seeing
but seeing that it is the Ramadhan month, unfortunately, all plans is cancelled.

end up i went to the steam and sauna room to chill instead
stayed in Dubai for 2 days till the 4th of September.
then Moscow, here i come!!!
(:

Flew to Moscow on the 4th September 2008 from Dubai.

i was way way energetic and was so hyped up as i was looking forward to going to Russia ever since i touched down Dubai.
that's because i wanted so badly to leave that country in which i totally can't stand the weather and the humudity.

as we touched down Moscow, it was surprisingly not what i expected.told.prepared.
Moscow was fairly hot too.
even with the temperature of 20 degree celcius, it was suppose to feel cool
but it's not.
it was hot! and i can tell you it's hotter than Cameron Highlands
(to Malaysian, you sure know how hot that feels)
well, the journey to the hotel took us approximately one hour.

met with one of my friend who just touched down Moscow, but his route was Moscow-Houston
unlike mine Dubai-Moscow.
knocked off nearly immediately.
oh btw, baobei in Moscow too!!!(:
(:
woke up later in the afternoon for lunch.
we went to this Italian restaurant down the road as it was said by everyone, the best!
i had this chicken breast tossed spaghetti.
i would rate it as fair. not good. definitely not Great!
went walking around, and a few of us decided to go for the famous Russian Circus
so, went to buy the tix and had some tea and then waited for the time to come.
the circus was alright.
i still prefer the circus i once went back in Malaysia (when i was a lil' girl)
the ones they had in a tent and in the field instead(:

aside from that, the train stations are build deep deep down underground!amazing huh?
its like many man years ago.
so i presume the safest place to hide when there's bombing, will b the underground train station.
*salute the architects and the engineers back then*

the next day, we went for breakie in MacD's
i had a chicken burger and 6 nuggets!
(i know, but i was really up for it!heh...even when i kinda lost my appetite!)
but before that, on the way to MacD's, we came across a dead body in the middle of the road where no one even cares
waited awhile, to see what's gonna happen(typical singaporeans and malaysians.hee)
and then only an ambulance came to settle it.
the guy just place the body in the deadbody bag and zipped it up.
after that, he unzip it again and checked the body's pulse.
(funny ain't it?after zipping then unzip only to check pulse.must be he totally forgot le)

anyway, i shall not elaborate more on it.
not like its a happy thing.
after breakie, we took the train to the redSquare.
did some shopping there.
bought many many sets of Matryoshka dolls or commonly said nesting dolls.
and flowers in Russia is so beautiful amidst the weather!
visited the all time famous cathedral, intercession St. Basil Cathedral.
and snapped alot and alot of pictures.
time spent in Moscow were great despite the weather.but it was bearable as it is similar to the weather back home.
only had a two whole clear days stay here.
rested alil and prepare to fly back to Dubai for another night stay.

then flew back to Dubai on the 6th September 2008 evening.
as we once touched down, we went out immediately this time to the choc and nuts store.

needed to buy some nuts for mum and the family!
went back to the hotel and went out again with another friend for dinner at this vegetarian restaurant.

cant wait to be back to Singapore as i will be heading HOME immediately after touching down!
(:
