*Auckland, New Zealand*

and so this time i'm on my own already.
no more buddy to talk to when you need her especially when you're all alone in a place you're unfamiliar with
and no more someone whom you feel comfortable to do all the crazy things together while you're over there.

yeap, Auckland was on the 26th July 2008.
basically, it was winter time over there so there isn't much things to do unlike summer where you can go bungee jumping and all.
when i touched down Auckland, it was freezing cold at 8 degree celcius(even tho it wasn't snowing but it was drizzling all the way!)

checked into the hotel and then quickly change and freshen up to go out for dinner with another two.
we managed to catch the shuttle bus to town for dinner and the supermarket.
sadly, i didn't have a chance to taste the local food cause it was way way expensive( they say that's how the locals earn money during winter)
so my friends brought me to this place and i had indian for the night.
after dinner, we headed to Food Town* supermarket(or like how they called it, pharmacy)
bought loadsa biscuits and cookies and milk and muffin for breakfast the next day and some to take home.
then we head to the duty free store (DFS) and one of the girl bought some keychain stuff from COACH.
headed back to the hotel and rest.
but due to the time difference from home base, i was jet lag and i think i slept for more than 20 hours lar.
until i dunno what time it is till the next day.
brought baobei along with me too have me sleeping better!
(:

anyway, one thing nice of staying in is that you'll learn to appreciate things around you.
sat on my window sill, while having my breakie of milk and cookie and muffin, i laze around in the hotel, wrote my journal and wrote some letters to send back home to the bestie, the family and the goodfriends after only to i realised that the view outside the hotel was well, i will say it's not to say beautiful but it feels great.
really the feeling is indescribable.

after that, we went out to have our dinner at the Korean street in a korean restaurant and walk around the town enjoying the chilling breeze
went to borders to check out some books.
Borders is all so pinked up!(me likey!!!)
(:
then we head back home.
didn't do much tho
cause it's pretty dead during winter where everything close so darn early.

but Auckland is an experience lar.
i enjoyed it eventho i haven't got anything much to do over there.

that's bout it, people...
i shall now go to prepare and pack my luggage for Amsterdam!
(:
